Being a town closest to Snowy Mountains, the place is normally used as a preferred stop over location for everyone on their way to Snowy Mountains. Held on the shores of Lake Jindabyne, the show exhibits various sculptures with a beautiful mountain backdrop and illuminated stops during nights as its key elements.
The Snowy Scheme Museum is also just a drive away from the town. The main attraction of the museum is the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme. It shows how the scheme was built and also the life on it. There are displays of most of the machinery and materials used for the construction and also many art works based on the same.
If you are a nature lover, do visit the Kosciuszko National Park, as Jindabyne is the closest town to reach the place. The park offers many things to do in Jindabyne for people. For the adventure lovers, the park offers various activities like canoeing, archery, mountain biking, mountaineering and so on.
