The Philippines' Best Destinations

The Philippines is an archipelago with 7,107 islands and a coastline that is more than double than that of the United States. But it is hard to cover every area of interest in this tropical paradise. When you desire to visit all the best places in this country one might end up in a dilemma on where to start, especially that one might be overwhelmed with the choices presented. In this list we will ease out the confusion on your end and narrowed down your choices to help you get the best experience possible while visiting the Philippines for the first time.

Boracay

When it comes to world class beaches the island of Boracay always seem to end up on the list of many tourist. Well, for me this came as no surprise. Its powdery white sand is one of the finest in the world with turquoise blue water to compliment it. If that is not enough then check out the various activities that the island offers. Once the night arrives and you still have energy left in you then hit a couple of clubs or bars for some party.

Camiguin Island

What really placed this small island on the map is its popular Lanzones Festival. But it has something more to offer visitors than their famous festival. Expect great diving spots and sights that will take your breath away. This pristine island is gaining more attention from tourist as many of them already had their first encounter. Their famous sand bar, White Island is a personal favorite by many who had the chance to visit.

Hundred Islands National Park

An island that is surrounded by local legend, this archipelago is one of the best places to visit in the Philippines. Only three of its islands are inhabited and developed for both locals and foreigners.

Palawan

The last Philippine frontier, Palawan is blessed with so many beautiful sights, wonders, and beaches. Surrounding the mainland of Palawan are many small islands with pristine beaches and powdery white sand. It is definitely a paradise.

Bohol

Never forget to make a trip to Bohol which is currently the number one tourist destination in the country. It is home to the smallest living mammal, great beaches, great sights, and a number of adrenalin inducing activities. Many tourists who visit Bohol could never get enough of it and I guess you just have to come and visit and know exactly why that is so.
